Given the proximity of the debate on the fate of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrrials (DACA) beneficiaries that is due to take place next week in the U.S. Senate, it is likely that all five of the venerable Sunday morning public affairs programs will address the subject of immigration during theirFebruary 11, editions.

Coverage of this past week's cruise missile attack that the United States launched against Syria will dominate this week's Sunday morning public affairs programs, leaving little room for discussions about other subjects, including immigration and refugees.

The headliner guests on the programs this weekend will include Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who will be making his first appearances on the Sunday programs since being confirmed by the Senate, United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, and a number of senators and members of congress.  There are no scheduled guests this week who are obvious candidates to discuss the subjects of immigration or refugees.

Coverage of the demise of the continuing, multiple investigations of potential ties between the Trump 2016 campaign and Russian intelligence operatives who were seeking to impact the U.S. presidential election will dominate this week's Sunday morning public affairs programs, leaving little room for discussions about other subjects, including immigration and refugees.

The headliner guests on the programs this weekend will include Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who is appearing on two programs; Assistant Majority Leader John Cornyn (R-TX); and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY).

Also appearing on the programs will be the usual assortment of political journalists and political operatives.  But the list of those appearing on the venerable programs who make immigration or refugees a key part of their agenda is particularly sparse this week.

The headliner guests on the programs this weekend will include White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY), and members of the House Freedom Caucus.  Also appearing on the programs will be the usual assortment of political journalists and political operatives.  But the list of those appearing on the venerable programs who make immigration or refugees a key part of their agenda is particularly sparse this week.
