Given the guest lists on the coming weekend's Sunday public affairs programs, there is likely to be significant discussion about immigration and refugees during the March 5, 2017, Sunday public affairs programs.

Among those who might be expected to address the subjects this week are House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY), and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL)..

A sneak peek at the guest lists for the upcoming March 5, 2017, editions of each of the five major network Sunday public affairs programs appears after the jump, along with previews of the likely or possible discussions on those programs about immigration and, refugees.

ABC - This Week: The guest list for the March 5, 2017, edition of ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" program will include Sarah Huckabee Sanders, White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary; Josh Earnest, former Obama Press Secretary; Senator Al Franken (D-MN); and Michael Mukasey, former Bush Attorney General.

Given the lineup of the program, it is uncertain whether the subject of immigration will be explored during this week's program.

CBS - Face the Nation: The headliner guests on the March 5, 2017, edition of CBS's "Face the Nation" program will be Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Mark Warner (D-VA), both members of the Senate Committee on Intelligence.

Also appearing on the program this week will be former Representative Leon Panetta (D-CA), who also once served as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and the Secretary of Defense.

Appearing during the political roundtable segment of the program this week will be CBS News Political Analyst and Slate’s Chief Political Correspondent Jamelle Bouie; White House Correspondent for the Associate Press Julie Pace; Ramesh Ponnuru, Senior Editor of the National Review; and the Washington Post’s Ed O’Keefe.

Given the lineup of guests, it is seems unlikely that the subjects of immigration or refugees will be explored during this week's program.
